The practice

Small, daily, honest.

Self-knowledge isn't a single test result. It is a skill — built the way any martial art is built: short, regular practice with clear progression.

  • 01
ReflectA carefully chosen prompt each day, answered in your own words.
  • 02
NoticeMoods, energy and choices tracked lightly, so patterns surface on their own.
  • 03
PractiseTwo-minute exercises to catch thinking traps and respond, not react.
Four disciplines

What you'll work on.

Each discipline is a short module you return to. Together they form a clear, steady picture of how you think and what you want.

I

Reflection

Daily prompts that move from simple observation to deeper questions.

II

Personality & values

Short self-assessments mapping your traits and the values behind your choices.

III

Thinking patterns

Name common thinking traps and practise calmer, more accurate alternatives.

IV

Private journal

Everything you write, searchable and exportable — and only yours.

Progression

Five belts. No shortcuts.

Like jiu-jitsu, progress is earned through practice. Each belt unlocks a new layer of the work.

01 · WHITE BELT

Awareness

Notice what you feel and think, without judging it.

02 · BLUE BELT

Patterns

Spot the loops that repeat across days and weeks.

03 · PURPLE BELT

Values

Name what matters most — and where you drift from it.

04 · BROWN BELT

Choices

Decide with intention, especially under pressure.

05 · BLACK BELT

Clarity

A steady, practised way of meeting your own mind.

Today's prompt

One question. Your words.

Every day begins with a single prompt. Answer in a sentence or a page — Mindjitsu remembers, so you can see how your answers change.

Values & privacy

Know what matters. Keep it private.

A values map shows what matters most to you — and where your weeks drift from it. Journal entries and self-assessments are encrypted, never sold and never used for advertising. Export or delete everything at any time.

Privacy Policy

Questions

Good to know.

Is Mindjitsu therapy?

No. Mindjitsu is a self-reflection and education tool. It is not psychological or psychiatric assessment, diagnosis or treatment, and not a substitute for a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.

How long does it take each day?

Five to ten minutes. One prompt, one short exercise, and an optional journal entry.

Are the personality insights scientific?

Self-assessments are based on widely used trait and values frameworks, simplified for everyday reflection. They describe tendencies, not fixed labels.

Is my journal private?

Yes. Entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold and never used for advertising. You can export or delete them at any time.
